We have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant (This is a fixed term contract until 9th July 2026 in the first instance). 

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 28.75 hours per week

Hours of work: 8.45am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday (39 weeks per year, term time plus inset days)

Salary: Grade 5 – range 7-8 £25,191 - £25,590  per annum pro rata, dependent on experience. Actual salary £16752 - £17,017  per annum

Greenfield Primary School is friendly popular school with a caring, family ethos, with 560 children on roll. We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide specialist support for children with SEND on a 1:1 basis.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of working in a school in a similar role
  • Experience of supporting children in the classroom, within small groups and/or delivering learning interventions
  • Experience of working with a range of pupils, including those with SEND.
  • A caring and nurturing nature
  • Enthusiasm and motivation
  • Experience of working in partnership with teachers, parents and other professionals and
  • A flexible approach to meet the needs of the school
